THE STORY IS BASED ON THE REAL LIFE JOURNAL OF PRIVATE RALPH HELLER WHO SERVED ON THE WESTERN FRONT DRIVING THE U.S. M1917 IN COMBAT – GET THE BOOK, IT IS A GREAT STORY.
LOTS OF NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED PICTURES ALSO MY AMBULANCE IS FEATURED ON PAGE 49. I AM HONORED TO HAVE MY AMBULANCE IN THIS BOOK.

"David has an unusually clear view of the weapon systems and vehicles of the United States in World War 1 and 2. I would endorse David for any museum or movie producer who wishes to have authentic representations for the hardware that made America great. Dave can make anything that might support your project. We need to save our machinery before it is too late. Bravo Dave!"

Military Historian & Collector
Author, "WWI Collector's Handbook"
I have spent years collecting and displaying military artifacts, I have found many items that were in very poor condition, not worthy of display. I can fix that. I can give these artifacts new life, and give them a prominent place in any collection.
What The Experts Are Saying About My Projects ...
For the past 40 years my passion has been the study of WW1 artifacts and equipment and general military history surrounding WWI and WWII.
U.S. Army M1917 Ambulance -
An "extinct" vehicle that David L. O'Neal spent years researching and finally re-created in 2011. A real life Jurassic Park story for a military vehicle.
1907/12 SCHWARZLOSE AUSTRIAN HEAVY MACHINE GUN -
This WW1 Axis water cooled machine gun has years of multicolored paints and a poor restoration finish that will be removed. It was also modified to have a longer barrel sometime during its military career. My intention at this time is to restore the MG back to its original length, and research a German WW1 Camouflage pattern for the painted finish.
